We tried this place for the first time and it was very yummy. So I told my wife and daughter that we were going to eat breakfast Sunday morning before church but I didn't really have a plan. I just knew I didn't really want to go to any of the same places we've gone before. I just wanted something a little different. So, I resorted to Yelp and as soon as I opened it I saw a review about the daily bread and it was pretty close to where we live. It's a nice area nestled in the desert shores community. The first thing you notice is that it's not a typical restaurant, it looks more like a sidewalk cafe you would find somewhere on vacation. It's a bakery/coffee shop/restaurant. It's a cute little place you would want to hang out at. When i walked in the door the first thing I noticed was the sourdough bread on a shelf and then the display case of all the sweet treats. We started with a cinnamon roll and a macha crumpet. My daughter had the Dutch baby and I had the Hash. I really enjoyed the flavor of the corn beef brisket with the poached eggs and potatoes. My meal was very satisfying. My daughter loved her Dutch baby dish and raved about it. When you get there and if there is no wait, you just grab a table. They bring you a menu and you walk in to give them your order. They will then give you a number to put on your table and a server will bring your food out for you. The price is close to 3 dollar signs if you know what I mean. The food we ordered on the attached pictures and two coffees was about $70. I would for sure go back to this place and I would recommend that you try it at least once.

Food was amazing! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Try the pork belly Benedict or sandwich! Both were delicious! Patio seating was cozy and cute with heaters for the cold mornings!

I went to The Daily Bread Bakery Café for breakfast because the place next door where I was planning to eat was not yet open. I was parked in front of TDBBC and decided to check it out. Glad I did. Wow the bakery stuff looked amazing. The breakfast choices were limited but the Eggs Benedict looked appetizing. I ordered at the counter and the food was delivered to my table on the patio. They only have outdoor seating. The Eggs Benedict was a good choice. Two perfectly cooked runny eggs over slices of bread, ham and chunks of potatoes all covered with a tasty hollandaise sauce. The double carbs was too much for me. I would have preferred only the potatoes. I will be back to experience the bakery

A friend was on this side of town and so we decided to meet up at The Daily Bread. Neither of us had been before and so finding it was quite the adventure. It's nestled in this tiny shopping center amidst some housing complex underneath the spa. It's a blink and you'll miss it kind of place but it's kind of like finding the Secret Garden. It was around 12:45PM and we knew they closed at 2PM so we hoped to miss the mad rush but was still surprised they had a few fresh baked goodies left. You walk inside the tiny prep space where you can see all of the pastries they have (definitely caught my eye). I knew what I wanted from behind the glass before I knew what I wanted to eat! I grabbed a red velvet cookie, a croissant cinnamon bun, and the last chocolate croissant (it was screaming my name). My friend went with the Dutch Baby and I ordered the chicken and waffles. We opted for complimentary water where they have a little water cooler to fill up styrofoam cups. We found a spot outside and then they brought our food to us when it was ready, which wasn't too long of a wait. The Dutch Baby was a good size, thick, and covered in berries and cream. The chicken and waffles was also of good size. The chicken had a nice kick to it and the pickled onions were a nice balance to the savory/sweet combination. We ended up hanging out until almost 3 pm since it was an open patio even though they closed their doors shortly after 2pm. When I got home, I enjoyed the pastries. The red velvet was a little firmer than I normally like my cookies to be but it had this subtle almond flavor to it that I really liked. The chocolate croissant was soft and the chocolate on top was even better after it had melted slightly in the warm sun, and the croissant cinnamon bun was like a churro, so tasty. This hidden gem I could selfishly keep a secret, but you don't want to sleep on this place, if you can find it.

The service excellent and the food is delicious Walked in and was so disappointed in myself as I did not have the capacity to try and eat all the wonderful pastries that were on display. This is my type of place with the "I love gluten " sticker The hold chocolate was piping hot. Not watery at all. Was not a Swiss Miss hot chocolate really creamy Ordered the avocado toast. Smidge to heavy on the salt. The eggs were perfectly poached Chicken and biscuits with gravy was a hit. In other places the gravy is often loaded with salt. When I tasted my SO order I could have gobbled up the gravy. This is not my usual response. The biscuits I feel are a true test of an excellent baker. This were not dry and crumbly. There was the right amount of moisture My only criticism is the signage needs to be better. Took us a hot minute to find it

First time trying this spot. Wanted to have breakfast by the lake at desert shores. This place is a little hidden it's right next to the spa and vino aromi under the white canopy. The only seating available is outside and it is limited. They do have heaters for the winter and fans for the summer. The menu is very small and the pastries very by day. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't too doughy and tasted caramelized. As for the omelette it had a nice spinach cheese sauce inside and it was packed with flavor. I believe the owner / one of the chefs is a season 12 winner from Hell's Kitchen Scott Commings. He was making food and serving to the guests and cleaning tables. Nice to see an owner put that much love into what they do. I want to come back on a week day and try something from the other menu.

The Daily Bread is a sweet little breakfast/brunch spot nested in the residential area of Desert Shores. The interior is cute, the food is light and cozy, and the outdoor seating is photo worthy. I've visited a couple of times, and although they offer one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had, I must warn that this place gets PACKED on the weekends. They cannot accommodate large parties, so I wouldn't even try. I have waited a good 20 minutes for a table before. It is first come first serve and you seat yourself. Visiting on a weekday is optimal, and especially for parties under 4. Note that parking is shared with other businesses and parking spots are just as hard to come by as empty tables. If you are a carbivore, this is a great place to pick up some fresh bread or pastries to take home!

This place is the bombdigity! Tiny little bakery/cafe with only outdoor seating. They do have a heated patio so you can have an awesome bite to eat even when it's cold and windy like it was today! The hubs and I both had the eggs Benedict. Ohhhh ma gawd...sooo good! So good I'd actually go back again tomorrow. Their hollandaise was freaking incredible. Eggs perfectly prepared on a toasted slice of fresh bread and some killer roasted potatoes. Paired perfect with our super hot lattes! Service couldn't have been nicer.

Came with my friend for brunch, we had salads, the food is always delicious and so fresh! We sat outside under the heat lamps at a quiet table. I also took an almond croissant home, let me tell you, that croissant was the best croissant I've ever had and I'll be back just for that!!! The bread that is included with the salads is literally to die for!! Try this place if you haven't!!!!

A cute place that has it's own bakery. If you'd like to have a nice and quiet breakfast, The Daily Bread is the right place! To be honest it is a small place, tables are outside.. but absolutely beautiful and very organized. The food is very delicious, including the breads and pastries. Service is also quick, and great.
